Breakside Salted Caramel Stout in Bottles & IPA Tap Takeover

Breakside Brewery has a couple more big events this Thursday, 1/23, at N.W.I.P.A. and next Thursday, 1/30, at Belmont Station, showing off the broad swath of its IPA acumen as well as the brewery’s latest seasonal bottle release – Salted Caramel Stout.


THIS Thursday is a total IPA Tap Takeover/Blowout or what have you, and what better place than the IPA-dedicated N.W.I.P.A. in the SE FoPo neighborhood. In addition to known staples Breakside’s flagship IPA, the more recently released Wanderlust IPA, the hyped Safe Word Triple IPA, and the brand new experimental IPAs including Hop Burst, Outerland IPA, and Trinidad Scorpion Double IPA, brewed with the world’s hottest chili peppers. N.W.I.P.A. will offer two different taster trays, with half of the beers on each.

Salted Caramel Stout Bottle Release Party
The following Thursday January 30th at Belmont Station is the release of Salted Caramel Stout in bottles. Belmont Station will have Wanderlust IPA, Oude Noir, and SCS on draft while they pour free samples of all of Breakside’s bottled beers, including the new SCS.

A rich stout base mixes with sea salt and specially­ made salted. this beer is rich and balanced with a luscious caramel flavor in the mid palate, a hint of salt in the finish, and a smooth roastiness.

    The Trinidad Scorpion was the world’s hottest pepper two years ago. The current WHP is the Carolina Reaper, which, coincidentally, will be grown at Marvin Estates this summer.
