Sierra Nevada Brewing announces new limited-edition Hazy Little Thing series

There is a fair chance you are familiar with Sierra Nevada Brewing’s “Little Thing” family of beers which includes Hazy, Big, Wild, and Sunny, Little Thing IPA’s. The Chico, California based Sierra Nevada has now released their first big drop of 2023 and it’s a rotating limited-edition seasonal series of the “little thing” family that will be exclusively unique variations of hazy IPA.

“What’s exciting about the Limited Hazy Series is that we’re selecting hazy IPA variants with interesting and unique flavor profiles, and they’re each only available for a limited time. Drinkers who love the hazy IPA beer style are definitely going to love what we’re doing because they’ll get to try something fresh and different each time we release anew beer in the series, which will happen about three times a year,” says Kyle Ingram, Brand Director at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

The very first iteration of the series will include the new Juicy Little Thing (6.5% ABV). Brewed using a specialized yeast strain and Sterling, Citra, El Dorado, and Mosaic hops, this new beer leads with prominent tasting notes of stone fruit, apricot, tropical fruit, and citrus. Created by the brewing company that released the first nationally distributed Hazy IPA back in 2018, this new hazy is the perfect way to kick off the new year and is bursting with flavor.

“Like the name suggests, Juicy Little Thing is high on juicy notes, particularly apricot and tropical fruit. We used a specialized yeast strain which accentuates those juicy notes, and the resulting beer is perfect as the series opener in the new Limited Hazy Series,” adds James Conery, Innovation Manager at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
