Deschutes Brewery releases Botanic Ale and Twilight Ale

Bend, Oregon-based Deschutes Brewery has announced the release of Spring seasonals Botanic Ale and Twilight Summer Ale. Botanic Ale is a new Gin-inspired beer and Twilight a long-time returning seasonal summer ale.

Botanic Ale – Inspired by a love of botanicals and gin, the spirit most famous for its use of botanicals, Botanic Ale is a lively union of juniper and hops joined by herbs, citrus and other botanicals Through the desire to find flavor drivers in nature beyond hops and malt, the quest for Botanic Ale began over 5 years ago following a project with Beers Made By Walking. Joining Deschutes Brewery’s most wild and creative beers in the Just Tapped Series, Botanic Ale ca be enjoyed unaided in a snifter or combined with a flavorful tonic in a refreshing Botanic Ale & Tonic concoction.

Botanic Ale is available in 12 oz, 6-pack bottles in Deschutes Brewery’s full distribution footprint for a limited time in the Just Tapped Series and is the newest addition to Deschutes Brewery’s Variety Pack, available everywhere Deschutes Brewery beer is sold.

7% ABV and 15 IBU’s.

Twilight – Back by popular demand for another year and strutting Deschutes’ new packaging, Twilight Summer Ale is ringing in this summer season. Twilight’s bright and crisp flavor profile creates this easy-drinking craft beer with a distinctive malt body that complements a refreshing hop profile led by an aromatic dose of bold Amarillo hops. This golden-hued ale pours remarkably crisp and clean and pairs perfectly with summer’s extended evenings.
