Schlafly releases new seasonal ‘Wintry Haze’ in Cans

St. Louis, Missouri original craft brewery Schlafly Beer has released their new seasonal Wintry Haze (6% ABV) in 6-packs of 12oz cans. This limited release IPA embraces the haze and packs a massive wave of juicy hop flavor through a double dry-hopping process. Wintry Haze is now available across Schlafly’s distribution as well as the Schlafly brewpubs.

More from a press release:

“Brewed with pounds of experimental hops, Wintry Haze IPA has an over the top hop-forward profile,” says Founding Brewer Stephen Hale. “This juicy, golden-colored beer is a great winter seasonal addition to the wide range of IPAs that we offer throughout the year at Schlafly.”

What started as a brewer's trial, soon became a favorite across the bar at the three Schlafly brewpubs. After a successful run as a draft selection, Schlafly Beer added Wintry Haze IPA to the 2020 portfolio. “The winter season usually ushers in stouts and higher ABV winter warmer beers. The Wintry Haze IPA is a nice alternative to the typical winter offerings. The bold IPA is full of hoppy flavor with a smooth mouthfeel that's as hazy as a winter whiteout,” Hale explains. Schlafly blends malt, wheat, and oats with pounds of Idaho 7, Strata, and Sabro hops for a beer that results in a haze with almost zero visibility.

Schlafly’s Wintry Haze is available for $9.99 and can be found across the brewery’s distribution, as well as on draft, and in cans at the Schlafly Bottleworks, Tap Room and Bankside brewpubs. Schlafly Beer offers curbside pick-up at all three brewpub locations. To place an online order for pick-up, visit: https://schlaflycurbside.square.site/.
