Migration Brewing partners with Oregon Wildlife Foundation on Beer for Deer
Portland, OR’s Migration Brewing has announced a new partnership with the Oregon Wildlife Foundation (OWF). The collaborative effort, beginning this month, will feature a hand-crafted specialty red lager in celebration of the organization’s newly designed Oregon state license plate. In December, the partners will celebrate an official release of the beer, which will be available on draft at all Migration pub locations, as well as six-pack cans that feature a specially designed image hailing directly from the new license plates. Migration will donate a portion of the proceeds from all food and drink sales during the release party to OWF.
More from a press release:
“It’s exciting to collaborate with Migration Brewing, and to see our commitment to Oregon’s natural landscape take shape within such a fun partnership,” said Jess Bynum, Digital Communication Coordinator at Oregon Wildlife Foundation. “Celebrating the release of our new license plate together with a beer created especially for the occasion was just too cool of an opportunity to pass up,” notes Bynum.
Thoroughly dedicated to supporting and promoting the work of meaningful local non-profit organizations, Migration continues to champion the surrounding nature of the Pacific Northwest with this partnership. “So many people have come to Portland because of the natural beauty, and all the amazing nature that’s here, from Mt. Hood to the coast,” stated Mike Branes, Co-Founder and Head Brewer at Migration Brewing. “This partnership is a way for us to celebrate our community and the nature that inspires so much of what we do,” Branes said.
“Beer for Deer” red lager (ABV 5.7%, IBU 22) will be available at all Migration pub locations on draft this week, and in six pack cans on Thursday 12/2. OWF will also feature cases for sale at their Hood River location.
