Garden Path Fermentation: new distribution and Spontaneous Ferment Raspberries release

Burlington, WA’s Garden Path Fermentation will partner with Vinea Imports for non-exclusive Washington distribution, and is releasing a new variant in their spontaneously fermented coolship series.

Seattle-based importer Vinea works directly with small producers around the world to bring sustainable, natural yeast-driven and site-specific wine to the Northwest. The focus is on finding thoughtful and similarly minded retailers and restaurants to showcase their products, especially valuable for the niche farmhouse ales that garner a cult following from Garden Path.

Garden Path is currently the only beer producer in Vinea’s book, and will operate within a non-exclusive agreement, continuing to self-distribute and export to their existing customers and accounts that are not currently working with Vinea.

The Spontaneous Ferment: Raspberries, is the first variant in their coolship series. Refermented on raspberries from Silva Family Farms, keg and bottle-conditioned with local fireweed honey, and aged for five months in bottles and kegs before release. This beer is a beautifully hued, fruity, and highly balanced product that shows off a complex set of flavors highlighting everything about the place from which it came. A very limited release.

The Spontaneous Ferment: Raspberries is now ready to drink and will be available for sale at Garden Path’s taproom beginning February 5th as well as throughout the region and beyond.
