NW Portland’s Hammer & Stitch Brewing gears up for summer
One of Portland’s newest breweries, Hammer & Stitch Brewing got off to a subdued start opening during the rough days of pandemic 2020 and are now kicking into high gear. Founded by veteran brewmaster Ben Dobler, along with head brewer Cameron Murphy and the H&S team, the brewpub in northwest Portland has new beers and plenty of events lined up for summer 2021.
NEW BEERS:
The Weizen is a new year-round available now - part of the soft summer resurgence of wheat beers.
In My Tree, a Hazy Wheat IPA with subtle strawberry notes is on tap now.
Raisin Hell, a Black Currant Wheat beer dropping sometime in June
New collaboration beers with Level and 54/40 Brewing are on the way this June.
OMSI’s Virtual After Dark - Summer BeerFest will be featuring Hammer & Stitch’s The IPA on June 23, so get your tickets now!
BEER & YOGA: That’s right, it’s a thing, and it will be happening at the NW Slabtown Taproom June 27.
SLABTOWN MAKERS MARKET: H&S will be there supporting local makers with tastings and can sales July 24-25
PORTLAND PUB RELAY: Part of the Gorgeous Series, Hammer & Stitch is one of the pub stops for runners on the August 14 marathon.
BLOOD DRIVE: Supporting the community is part of the mission, H & S will be hosting an American Red Cross blood drive August 18th to show support of an existing critical need for donors.
Hammer & Stitch was founded by two brothers, a brewmaster and a simple goal to celebrate the craft of making incredibly lovable beers. Come and enjoy the standard year-round beers including The Lager, The IPA, The Weizen, The Pale, The Porter, and The Amber, as well as limited release creations.
