Fort George Brewery presents LUPULIN ECSTASY Festival and the release of 3-Way IPA

After three long years Fort George Brewery’s romantic loving embrace of luscious hops LUPULIN ECSTASY is coming back to the historic Flavel House in Astoria, Oregon. The IPA invitational beer fest was only held once in the before times but now hopes to become an annual tradition serving as the launch of the annual 3-Way IPA collaboration and inviting the collaborators of years past back to pour beer.

Coming back in time to catch some of the warmer summer rays on the Oregon Coast, the Lupulin Ecstasy festival takes place May 21st. Prepare to enter a mystical realm of perpetual summer: the limitless land of lupulin delight. On Wednesday, April 20th, at 4:20PM, tickets will go on sale for Lupulin Ecstasy and are said to be limited to only 700 people, so they will sell out fast. Fire up those ticket buying bots people!

Lupulin Ecstasy Festival
May 21st, 2022

Noon to 6PM

The Flavel House Museum & Grounds at 8th & Duane in Astoria
Lupulin Ecstasy was first conceived as a party for all of our friends: a Perfect Day of IPAs. We’ve been collaborating with breweries across the land for more than a decade, each year bringing a new and brilliant recipe to life for the summer release of our 3-Way IPA. That means we’ve collaborated with over 2 dozen of the Northwest’s finest, coolest, newest, cutest, tastiest breweries.

We asked them if they wanted to party with us.
They said, “yeah.”
Then we said, “bring some of your beer.”
And they were like, “alright.”
Which is where you come in.

Each ticket to Lupulin Ecstasy Festival is a ticket to taste the best IPAs in the PNW. Your ticket includes a glass and 6x 6oz pours, as well as admission to the Flavel House Museum and the Oregon Film Museum. On May 21st, we welcome you to step into a world of delicious, guilt-less excess as you wander the grounds of two of Astoria’s finest museums, right in the heart of downtown, with live music, special attractions, tantalizing food and virtually endless tastes of IPAs from past 3-Way collaborators.

A portion of your ticket price will go to Clatsop County Historical Society, outstanding stewards of Astoria’s long and complicated history. The Flavel House was built as the private residence of bar pilot and entrepreneur, Captain George Flavel and has been expertly restored and maintained by the Clatsop County Historical Society. The Oregon Film Museum is housed in the old Clatsop County Jail and features hands-on exhibits related to films made in Oregon (there are a lot. Filmmakers like Oregon for its unpretentious urbanity and rugged good looks).

Lupulin Ecstasy will mark the official release of this year’s 3-Way IPA: a collaboration between Fort George, Ravenna Brewing Co in Seattle and Alvarado Street Brewery in Salinas, California.

Fort George is excited to bring you a festival built for summer, right on the eve of summer, a festival so full of IPAs that we needed two museums to house them.
