Corvallis launches Mid-Valley Sip Trip: Mobile Passport Trail of Craft Beverage Makers

Ale trails and mobile passports are increasingly popular in 2023, following the success of the Mt. Hood Ale Trail, Tualatin Ale Trale, and other even older and influential guides, Visit Corvallis, is launching a new mobile passport called the Mid-Valley Sip Trip. The digital passport by the official tourism organization for Corvallis, Oregon, encourages locals and visitors alike to explore a curated collection of breweries, distilleries and cideries. From crisp cider and citrusy gin to session mead, participants will receive tasting flights and specialty offers to redeem during their Corvallis area visit.

“We’re so excited to launch the Mid-Valley Sip Trip Passport right as we head into the summer months,” said Christina Rehklau, executive director of Visit Corvallis. “It's such a fun way for visitors and locals to get out and experience some wonderful local businesses in Corvallis and the surrounding areas!”

The digital passport, valid through October 2nd, is $30 per person and includes five tasting flights:


Visit Corvallis encourages users to drink responsibly and participate in the use of designated drivers, buses, and mobile car-sharing apps when visiting stops on the Sip Trip trail. Users must be 21 and older to participate.

How It Works

Step 1: Those interested can purchase their Mid-Valley Sip Trip Pass at https://www.visitcorvallis.com/mid-valley-sip-trip-passport 

Step 2: The passport will be instantly delivered to your phone via text and email and is ready to use immediately! There is no app to download. The pass can be saved to your phone’s home screen for easy one-tap access.

Step 3: When visiting a participating business, simply present your phone to the attendant or staff member to redeem available offers

The passport is valid from June 1 to October 2, 2023
