The 9th annual Portland Fresh Hop Pop-Up Beer Festival is now the longest-running and largest selection of fresh hop beers in Portland. Presented by Portland Beer Week and Prost!, the pop-up functions as an all fresh hopped beer garden with no cover charge or tickets, running all day from 8am - 10pm at night from the Bloodbuzz bar at Prost! Marketplace, the food truck court and deck with a full bar on N. Mississippi Ave.

You probably already know this, but just in case: Fresh Hop Beers are made with freshly picked and locally grown whole flower hops that offer distinct flavors and opportunities to brew with that are unique to the pacific northwest. You can only enjoy these beers once a year.

Each day of this 17 day fresh hop marathon will feature seasonal rare seasonal beers with special tappings nearly every day celebrating some of the best and brightest breweries and regions.

  Classic midwest malt-bill approach to an all-Centennial, hot-side Wet Hop IPA. Hops from Goschie Farms. Loads and Loads of hops. 6.5%abv

• Living Haus Beer / Ghost Town Brewing collaboration: Dino
  Collab w/ Ghost Town Brewing featuring YCH fresh Citra hops.

• Ferment Brewing: Luminosa IPA
  Luminosa Fresh Hops are nothing short of magic. With waves of samba and merengue, Lumionsa dances into this bright, bold IPA, bringing zippy notes of guava and lemon. 6.5% abv.

• Kings & Daughters: Fill Your Cup
  a Fresh Hop Soft IPA, we are featuring fresh Simcoe from Coleman Farms here in Oregon. Lightly dry hopped with Simcoe Cryo as well as a bit of Motueka Amplifire Hop Oil from Clayton Farm (which is made from Fresh Hops) and some Citra Quantum Hop Oil from Roy Farms. The idea is to saturate the beer with almost 16 lbs/bbl of fresh hops on the hot side and then brighten it up on the cold side with novel hop products! 5.3% ABV

• Zoiglhaus Brewing: FH Super Pils!
  Flying down to Goschie Farms and back on the same day to provide us with Centennial hops straight off the bine, Zoigi basks in the glow of a job well done. Our Fresh Hop Super Pils combines the power of German-style mashing and fermentation with the dry hopping of the West Coast. The freshly picked green hop cones are the opposite of Kryptonite in this Pilsner, providing a blast of hop flavors and aromas to go with the malt crispness. With great beer comes great responsibility. Prost!

• Cerveceria Norte: Fresh Hop Mexican-style Dark Lager
  Harvest time is always bustling and thirst inducing. This Fresh Hop version of our Mexican-Style Dark Lager is here to help quench that thirst. The blend of German and US malts and corn lays the foundation for the soft and delicious hop flavors from the Tettnanger hops we get from our friends at Goschie Farms. Putting the local touch on a classic style! Salud!

  An Imperial version of Breakside's popular Wanderlust IPA. The fresh hop version features fresh Crystal hops, with a great aroma of woodsy, green, floral and fruity with herb and spice notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper. 8% ABV.

• Bauman's Cider: Fresh Hopped Cider
  Every year we reserve some of the very first bushels of fresh hops from Crosby
  Farms, just a few miles down the road from our own farm and cidery. These hops go from vine to cider tank within an hour, and you can taste the freshness!

• Great Notion Brewing: Fresh Hop Easy Lift
  Forks up for Fresh Hop Easy Lift. Our West Coast IPA with Mosaic, Simcoe, and Cascade gets an added boost of fresh Cascade hop cones.  6.3% ABV

  Quantum Vision Hazy IPA was a stunner this year with Citra and Mosaic hops hand-selected during the '23 harvest season. Its fresh hop cousin is just as good-looking. Brewed with FRESH Citra and Mosaic from Coleman Farms for the ultimate spin on this tropical juice bomb. 6.8%

This brew features our homegrown Citra®, Simcoe®, and HBC 1019 hops, with an infusion of freshly harvested Simcoe®.   Fort George collab w/ Ruse Brewing is an Oregon Beer Awards gold medal winning Hazy IPA with Fresh Strata from Indie Hops, 6.8%.

• Von Ebert Brewing: Fresh Hop Sector 7 Hazy IPA
  highlighting fresh Krush hops from Perrault Farms

• Living Haus Beer: Herman Hazy Pale Ale
  showcases Strata hops from Goschie Farms. Brewers switched up the malt bill a little bit to better support the hops right off the bine with a touch of wheat malt. This beer is just bursting with berry and tropical goodness. So much strawberry, mango, and pineapple come through in this beer and we just love it.

Fresh Hop beers straight out of Bend, Oregon’s world-class brewing scene.

• Boneyard Beer: Out on Bale IPA
  300lbs of Simcoe fresh hops will go into the whirlpool as the star of the show. Malt bill is pretty basic and light with 2-row, Pilsner malt, and White Wheat. Boosted hop impact with T90 dry hop additions of Simcoe and Citra. Expect a super stone fruit forward hop flavor, with some pine and citrus zesty notes rounding it out.

• Sunriver Brewing: Fresh Hop Rippin IPA
  This version of our award winning Rippin NW Pale Ale features freshly harvested Amarillo® hops, provided to us by our friends at Crosby Hop Farm in Woodburn, OR. These amazing freshies drop huge notes of overripe tangerine, grapefruit blossoms, and herbal dankness. Hops: Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo® 6% ABV.

• Bend Brewing: Fresh Trop IPA
  This fresh hop IPA is a special interpretation of our flagship Tropic Pines IPA, but brewed with fresh Simcoe hops directly from B&C Hop Ranch in Woodburn, OR. Intense tropical fruit notes, sticky pine and a relentless barrage of freshness helps remind us why we all look forward to this local favorite. 6.5% ABV.

• Boss Rambler Beer Club: Fresh 1 Trillion WCIPA
  A West Coast special double dry-hopped with a radical hop combo, then dipped with FRESH CENTENNIAL hops that were nitro-frozen and shattered for maximum lupulin extraction. It's fresh hop flava x 1,000.000.000,000! 6.9% ABV.

• Boss Rambler Beer Club: Fresh Hazy Trillion
  A juicy haze bomb double dry-hopped with a tropical hop combo, then dipped with FRESH STRATA hops that were nitro-frozen and shattered for maximum lupulin extraction. 7% ABV.

EUGENE/CORVALLIS FRESH HOP SHOWCASE

• Block 15 Brewing: Static Shatter American IPA
  American IPA with Strata, Cashmere, Simcoe, Comet, and Nugget Salvo hops. Fresh Strata hops frozen with liquid nitrogen and shattered them to expose the lupulin glands when introduced to the beer during fermentation. Flavors of mango creamsicle and alfalfa, there’s freshness in every sip. 6.75% ABV.

• Block 15 Brewing: Sticky Hands: Fresh Hop Experience
  Flagshio American strong IPA slammed with a fresh hop treatment! Using fresh-picked Citra hops from Coleman Agriculture's Alluvial Hop Farms, brewers immediately cryogenically froze the hop cones and shattered them straight to the tank for a fresh hop blast, all within a few hours. 8.10%

• ColdFire Brewing: Fresh Hop Cumulus Tropicalus
  This year’s fresh hop season inspired us to reinvigorate the already delicious hop sensation, Cumulus with ridiculous quantities of fresh Citra from Oregon's own Sodbuster Farm. The resulting beer is bursting with loads of lupulin goodness that hop heads won’t want to miss out on. Layers of flavor and aromatics burst from every sip of this vibrant IPA. A mélange of fresh citrus, mango, lemongrass, honey, and tropical fruit make this version of a house favorite something special. 6.5% ABV.

  Sabro Fresh Hop Pale Ale
  Brewed with Proximity Base Malt, Cara 20, and Acidulated. Steeped with 50 pounds of fresh Sabro from BC Hop Ranch in the mash tun post-boil. Dry hopped with Sabro T-90 and Cryo. 5.5% abv

• Oakshire Brewing: Fresh Hopped Watershed IPA
  Fresh Hopped Watershed, brewed with freshly picked Willamette Valley Simcoe hops, showcases vibrant notes of stone fruit, pine, and blooming flowers. This clear, crisp IPA boasts a dense white head and an intensely hoppy aroma, capturing the essence of freshly harvested hops in every sip. 6.7% ABV.

• Oakshire Brewing: Fresh Hopped Visit Italia
  Fresh Hopped Visit Italia is a vibrant pilsner showcasing bright, spicy, and floral notes from freshly added Mt. Rainier hops. Its crystal-clear appearance and crisp, dry finish invite endless sips, celebrating the essence of un-kilned hops preserved through a liquid nitrogen bath. 5.2% ABV.

  Hop Harvest 2024 is a hazy IPA bursting with explosive flavors of strawberry, resin, and herbal dankness, thanks to fresh Strata hops from the 2024 harvest.
