Aslan Brewing's 2018 Barrel Project Retrospective Comes to Portland and Seattle

Aslan Brewing from Bellingham, WA, is doing a three stop 2018 Barrel Project Retrospective, with events January 17th in Portland, January 23rd in Seattle and the 24th and 26th back in Bellingham. While Aslan may be known for organic ales and lagers, the brewery has building an extensive barrel program for years that culminated in opening a separate taproom called Aslan Depot to focus on the many wild and experimental beers."Over the past year we’ve been able to release 10 different projects from our barrel program and are honored to share them with you all," says owner Boe Trosset. "We have planned a small tour of events with the help of close friends around the Pacific Northwest to curate four different experiences, culminating in the Aslan Depot's 1 year Anniversary Party."Note that the dinner pairings at The Masonry (Seattle) and Ciao Thyme (Bellingham) are ticketed events.Each event will feature a different presentation and lineup:

  • 1/17/19 Portland, OR - Apex will be a non-ticketed event open to the public. It will feature projects that have been previously unavailable in the Portland area.
  • 1/23/19 Seattle, WA - The Masonry (Queen Anne) will be hosting a ticketed beer dinner, featuring a curated tap list and a presentation from the Aslan team. Contact reservations@themasonryseattle.com for ticket information and to reserve a spot!
  • 1/24/19 Bellingham, WA - Ciao Thyme will be pairing our barrel-aged portfolio with a winter dinner.   • 1/26/19 Bellingham, WA - The tour concludes with the Aslan Depot 1 Year Anniversary celebration! This event will feature 3 new bottle releases, limited edition glassware, music, and food. It is a non-ticketed event and open to the public.
