Cascade Brewing releases experimental hopped 'The Devil Wears Lager' in 16oz Cans
Cascade Brewing is releasing their first lager in cans. Though known for sour beers, new 16oz cans of The Devil Wears Lager a dry-hopped lager made in collaboration with a hop farm will drop Friday, Nov. 8th.
The Devil Wears Lager sounds like one of the new school hopped Pilsners that are becoming popular, in the vein of an Italian-style Pils. DWL is dry-hopped with experimental hops from Roy Farms in the Yakima Valley, Moxee Washington to be exact. The hopscome out of the new ADHA breeding program and it's test name is ADHA-1940. The variety is said to retain the traditional German noble hop character of spicy and floral but with American characteristics like being more resinous.
The Devil Wears Lager is currently available only in cans, but the brewery plans to make draft available in the coming weeks. For more information, visit CascadeBrewing.com and engage on social media at @CascadeBrewing.
