Great Notion App soft launches on i0S for Delivery and Pick-Up

A long talked about Great Notion App quietly dropped on the apple i0s app store today that offers consumers the ability to order beer for pick-up and delivery in Portland with broader regional shipping coming soon. Sped up for the pandemic, Great Notion's Paul Reiter says the app has been in the works for some time now but was rushed out for our no contact times.

The Great Notion app combines an ordering service with a reward based loyalty system similar to untappd's badges that invites interaction. The app will allow fans to browse the ilustrated characters from Great Notion's popular beer cans and view the archive of releases. Purchases will earn points that open up badges and rewards like exclusive special releases and rankings among the Timber Crew members.

For now the Great Notion App is only available on i0s and is only for beer delivery and pick-up but the brewery promises additional phases with games, virtual characters, shipping and merch. For now this is apple only with a broader launch of services and android version coming as soon as late this week.

Pickup and Delivery:

Orders for pickup can be picked up the same day or the following day at Great Notion NW (2444 NW 28th Ave). Current hours at Great Notion NW are 12-7pm daily.

Great Notion is currently delivering beer within 2 days of placing your order but hopes to offer faster service soon. After placing orders, consumers will receive a text with delivery status and updates when the driver is on the road. This beta soft launch will start with prepaid pickup with some inventory reserved for walk-ups, but Great Notion plans to move towards app-only beer purchases during the pandemic.

Minimums are one 4-pack for pick-up and $100 for delivery.

Deliveries must be accepted by the person whose name is on the order.
