Chuckanut Brewery releases New World Ale in bottles

Chuckanut New World Ale

Bellingham, Washington's Chuckanut Brewery has released their second beer in bottles with New World Ale. Following up the first packaging of their Kolsch, Chuckanut bottles are now available from Portland, OR to Seattle area to the NW Puget Sound and lower British Columbia. New World uses new varietal German hops to give aromas of white grapes and berries creating an easy drinking golden ale with hints of malt and fruit.

More from a press release:

New World Ale is what some people might call a German Pale Ale because it is a moderate strength Pale Ale made unique with the new varietal German hops Ariana and Calista. This new age ale has just the right amount of bitterness not to over-power the senses but to end your taste buds on a slightly bitter note. Great paired with salads with a strong dressing and spicy foods too, try it with a big plate of Nachos! Bottled in convenient European style half liter bottles.

Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen, located at 601 West Holly St, Bellingham, was awarded the National Small Brewpub/Brewer of the Year 2009 and National Small Brewery/Brewer of the Year 2011 at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, CO. Currently both the South and North Nut offer to-go curbside pick up for kegs, growlers and bottles of Chuckanut beer. The South Nut Skagit Tap Room & Brewery at 11937 Higgins Airport Way, Burlington is located at the Port of Skagit in Burlington.
