Chuckanut Brewing Delivery and new Single Hop Sultana Lager
Washington’s Chuckanut Brewery has launched direct home beer and food delivery in their home town of Bellingham. They also have released the latest in their Single Hop Lager series showcasing the Sultana hop variety.
The Single Hop Lager series has been a subtle way for Chuckanut to further their knowledge of Noble hop varieties by trying out new off-shoot U.S. grown varietals. Noble hops are a famous family of hop varieties from Germany, but more recently America has been trying their hand at growing new cultivars based on the famous family of hops. Chuckanut’s brewers are excited to get to know these hops better and for drinkers to better understand them.
This 7th rendition in the Single Hop Lager Series uses the NW developed Sultana, originally experimental hop #06277 previously named Denali. Sultana has more of a southern hemisphere meets west coast character of tropical flavors of pineapple, citrus & pine. Sultana Single Hop Lager is great with spicy foods from southern climates. This latest limited release is now available in kegs, growler fills and half liter bottles at limited shops and restaurants around the NW and Oregon.
With Washington’s recent ban on indoor food and drink service, Chuckanut is now delivering their pub food, beer and merchandise from their Bellingham pub called the North Nut from Wednesday-Sunday 1-7 pm by calling 360-752-3377 option 1 for delivery or on line at https://www.clover.com/online-ordering/chuckanut-brewery-bellingham. Beer is available by appointment only on Monday and Tuesday by emailing info@chuckanutbrewery.com. South Nut at the Port of Skagit has curbside to-go pick up Wednesday & Thursday 3-6 pm and Friday-Sunday 1-6 pm by calling 360-752-3377 option 2. Please keep in mind, during inclement weather of extreme cold or heavy winds these hours may change.
