Portland, OR’s Level Beer is releasing two new barrel-aged beers in bottles this Thursday, December 10th. Barrel-aged Snowsuit is the oak spirit barrel-aged version of last years Neon Snowsuit Winter Warmer, and Better Stock Up! is a Stock Ale aged in rye whiskey barrels.

Both beers will be available in 500ml bottles and make great stocking stuffers or cellar stash beers. Only one of these will be available outside of Level Beer’s own taprooms.

Barrel-Aged Neon Snowsuit

Last winter Level put their seasonal Neon Snowsuit Winter Warmer into barrels where it sat for a year. This is the first time that this annual release has been aged in barrels with spicy rye notes complementing the big malt complexity of toffee and earthy hops used in this beer. 8.5% ABV.

Barrel-Aged Snowsuit is available exclusively through Level Beer in 500ml bottles.

Grab this rich malty English ale aged in rye whiskey barrels contributing a spicy bready bite to the chewy mahogany body and it’s bittersweet notes of nuts, tannic-red wine and bittersweet woody caramel 9.5% ABV.
