Chuckanut Brewery releases Fest Bier in Bottles
Acclaimed lager masters at Bellingham, Washington’s Chuckanut Brewery has released their 2019 GABF Bronze Medal winning Fest Bier in bottles for the first time. Chuckanut’s interpretation of the classic German regional favorite is golden and quaffable, a lager that emphasizes malts over hops and would normally be enjoyed at Oktoberfest in Bavaria. Check out our guide to enjoying Oktoberfest and Fest Bier at home this year with local renditions and imports.
Chuckanut’s Fest Bier is medium bodied, slightly sweet yet crisp, with a hint of noble hops. Fest Bier is now in 500ml bottles around the Northwest and Chuckanut's two locations (Bellingham and Burlington in Skagit Valley).
More info from the brewery:
Chuckanut Fest is a slightly stronger version of Helles Lager with a light taste of hops and a strong note of malts. Balanced with a higher ABV than Helles Chuckanut's Fest Bier goes great with sausages, roast chicken or any roast. This is a beer that goes celebrates the coming of fall and only available this time of year. Get it while you can and celebrate autumn with a toast to warm days and cool nights, prost!
