Ex Novo Brewing brings their beers to greater Seattle area
Portland, Oregon founded company Ex Novo Brewing is now available in the greater Seattle, Washington area in cans and on draft. Ex Novo has added the third state in their network since the opening of a second brewery in Corrales, New Mexico and a satellite Oregon location in Beaverton.
Ex Novo has partnered with Seattle-based wholesaler Browar Polska Distributing which was acquired by Corwin Beverage in 2019. Corwin also owns wholesaler Kendall’s Craft Beverages that has been distributing Ex Novo in the southwest Washington area previously. With Browar Polska now part of the same parent company it makes for a seamless transition to get their beers into Seattle and surrounding counties King, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, Mason, Snohomish, Kittitash, and Chelan.
All five of Ex Novo’s core year-round beers are now available in 16oz or 12oz cans and draft, those are Eliot IPA, Mexican Lager, Perle Haggard, Aperture Hazy Pale, Scarlet Starlet (or whatever rotating seasonal sour is in this spot.) Plus limited amounts of Brain Bomb Hazy DIPA, Nevermore, Kill the Sun, Triple Down Economics Triple IPA, and Strat Your Stuff Hazy IPA.
“The expansion is not related to the pandemic so much - we have been planning to expand to that territory for years, when we were able to supply the demand. Our two breweries are at the point now with production capacity we feel we can meet the need,” says Ex Novo owner Joel Gregory.
With locations in two disparate states already, it warrants asking if Ex Novo has eyes for a Washington location, and for that Gregory has a vague tease.
“I'm pretty stretched being in two states as it is 😃 Maybe if our homies at Urban Family wanted to collaborate on something special...”
