Pinot Beer

8.1% ABV & 10 IBU

Pinot Beer marks the return of GoodLife Brewing's extremely limited 500mL Bottle Series that last saw a launch in 2017 with Brett Lager.

In 2019 GoodLife Brewing Co. and Wine by Joe partnered with one another to offer a $6 mail-in rebate for consumers who purchased a bottle of wine from Wine by Joe and a 6-pack from GoodLife; Pretty much a win, win deal right? In 2020, the relationship continued to blossom between the two premier Oregon alcohol manufacturers, and during the 2020 grape harvest, Joe Dobbes Winery winemaker Andy McVay set aside 2 barrels of unfermented grape juice that was resting on their skins for GoodLife Brewing to use.

GoodLife Brewing Company's Head Brewer, Tyler West, then picked up the two-barrels full of unfermented grape juice, along with 12 used Pinot Noir barrels from The Dobbes Family Estate, and brought them back to GoodLife Brewing where he blended the aging grape juice that was resting on their skins with a Golden Ale that was barrel-aged for 12 months in Oregon Pinot Noir Barrels. Once blended, we refermented the hybrid ale with a fresh dose of Brettanymces and the outcome is a delightful Pinot Noir Wine Hybrid Ale that is sure to get you talking about GoodLife Brewing's In The Wood's series that features a well-rounded portfolio of barrel-aged exclusive beers.

Pinot Beer is NOW Available in 500mL bottles and 1/6bbl kegs across Oregon.

Big Winter

10.2% ABV & 22 IBU

Big Winter first made it's debut last year and sold out faster than it took you to read this sentence, so we found it fitting to bring back this crowd favorite, to help warm up our patrons who are stuck with outdoor dining while we navigate through the PNW's current COVID mandates and restrictions.

This BIG English Barley Wine Style Ale clocks in at 10.2% ABV and is a winter warmer if you've ever had one. This malt-forward ale has notes of Toffee and Carmel that is sure to leave you wanting more after your last drop.

Big Winter is a draft exclusive beer from GoodLife's In the Wood Series and is NOW available throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Now available in 1/2bbl and 1/6bbl kegs

Also don’t forget about Pass Stout, Goodlife’s annual 7% abv and 40 IBU winter draft-only seasonal that was packaged in 12oz cans this year for the first time ever. Read more about it here.

ABOUT GOODLIFE BREWING:

GoodLife Brewing Company opened in 2011 in Bend, OR where the craft brewing culture is vibrant and growing. Our beautiful home in the PNW is very supportive of local craft beer and has been a remarkable testing ground for beer to be distributed regionally. We strive to make exceptional beers by blending special brewing techniques, unique ingredients, and the best quality hops and malt available. Also, having great water helps.

Soon after opening, we began selling beer in all of OregonWashington and Idaho. We also have limited distribution in Vermont and Hawaii. Proving to be quite successful, we were the first brewery in Bend to can beer. Our Sweet As! Pacific Ale was voted the Best Canned Pale Ale in America 2013 and the Best Beach Beer of 2013. We continue to grow and produce more offering in cans.
