ilani Resort BrewFest returns this Winter

Ridgefield, Washington casino ilani’s is bringing back their on-site beer festival this February 17-29th, 2022. The Ilani BrewFest promises a selection of hundreds of beers, seltzers, ciders and spirits from both local and national brands. But that’s not all it has to offer, the organizers tout a selection of pacific northwest food, celebrity chef demonstrations, games, live entertainment and more. The weekend will be packed full of events including beer pairing dinners, three days of grand tasting events, beer brunches, and a very special Burgers, Brews, Bourbon & Bacon Lunch at Michael Jordan’s Steak House.

Beer and Food Pairing Dinners

BrewFest weekend kicks off on Thursday, Feb. 17, with the first round of ilani’s Oregon vs. Washington beer pairing dinners featuring local favorites. Artfully crafted cuisine will be expertly paired with brews from some of the region’s best breweries. Diners will taste and decide which craft selection takes home the state title. The evening promises non-stop excitement, from voting for favorite brews to enjoying local live entertainment, 7-9 p.m., inside Muze Lounge, all for just $49 per person.

The brewery brew down continues Friday, Feb. 18, with round two of ilani’s Battle of the Beers: Oregon vs. Washington inside Muze Lounge, 6-8 p.m. A finely prepared meal will be paired with curated selections from the region’s best brews as diners once again decide which craft selection takes home the state title. The evening is complete with non-stop excitement, live entertainment and voting for favorite brews for just $49 per person.

For those in the mood for seafood, the Beer Battered Triple Header: Fish & Chips Beer Dinner is a can’t-miss event on Friday, 6-7:30 p.m., at Line & Lure for $49 per person. Chef Ryan Ziegler of Line & Lure is cooking up three distinct fish & chips beer batters featuring beers from three different breweries — and he’s calling on seafood and beer lovers to be the judge. Light and flaky battered Pacific Cod will be paired with each batter’s respective beer, and diners decide which will be the beer-battered champ.

Tickets to all the beer pairing dinners include $10 in Promo Play and can be purchased starting Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m., via Ticketmaster.com or ilanibrewfest.com.


The Main Event: Grand Tastings

ilani’s BrewFest will feature three days of Grand Tasting events with one session on Friday, Feb. 18; two sessions on Saturday, Feb. 19; and a final session on Sunday, Feb. 20. Upon entering the doors of the Cowlitz Ballroom, guests will be transported to a world of hops, malts, delicious food and fun. Hundreds of beers, seltzers, ciders and spirits for tasting are accompanied by live celebrity chef demonstrations on the main stage. Guests can sample coveted recipes created by the country’s top chefs, listen to live music, and learn about how their favorite beverages were created.

Friday’s session will be held 6-10 p.m. for $39 per person, while Saturday’s sessions will take place 1-5 p.m. and 6-10 p.m. for $49 per person. Sunday’s Grand Tasting will take place 1-5 p.m. for $39 per person. All ticket purchases include $6 in food tokens and $10 in Promo Play. If that’s not enough, the first to make a purchase will receive $15 off each Grand Tasting ticket.


Saturday Morning Warm-Up: Beers & Burgers Brunch

Saturday morning, Feb. 19, brunch at Rose & Thorn is enjoyed 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. An all-American burger bar features Black Angus sliders, truffle fries, mac n’ cheese, beer-battered favorites, including the famous onion ring tower from The Stadium Sports Bar & Grill, and much more. Diners can wash everything down with flights of crowd-pleasing beers and close lunch out with an ice cream sundae and brownie/cupcake bar, all while enjoying live entertainment. Tickets to this event are $39 per person and include $10 in Promo Play.


Sunday Morning Warm-Up: Smokehouse Brew Brunch

It’s Sunday Funday with brunch at Rose & Thorn, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Feb. 20. What’s better than brisket and beer? Rose & Thorn will host a mouthwatering smokehouse feast featuring its 14-hour slow-cooked beef brisket, baby back ribs, house-cured salmon and more. Paired with chilled flights of beers and delectable side dishes, including beer-battered favorites, brunch finishes with a must-try IPApple Brown Betty in a shot glass, all accompanied by live local entertainment. Tickets to this event are $39 per person and include $10 in Promo Play.


Half-Time Refuel: Burgers, Bacon, Brews and Bourbon Lunch

Nothing goes better together than burgers and beer, and no one does it better than Michael Jordan’s Steak House. A one-of-a-kind burger only the chefs at Michael Jordan’s Steak House could create is paired with Zed PDX's fantastic Shrug and sides that are so good they should be entrées. Guests can learn more about the pairing selection and the key choices that make this burger the best in the business and Zed PDX one of the tops in the region. This can’t-miss dining experience will take place Sunday, Feb. 20, 1-2:30 p.m. Tickets are $69 per person and include $10 in Promo Play.
