Portland, Oregon’s Level Beer has launched their Bonus Worlds series of limited release beers in 19.2 oz cans. The rotating selections of this increasingly popular larger format can will rotate seasonally and has already featured three beers with a fourth dropping in March.

Jean Schwartz, a German-style Schwarzbier black lager was the first out of the gate. Smooth malt with hints of coffee & roast, light herbal/floral hopping makes for an easy-drinker with an ABV of 5%.

Vienna Lager, toasty malt flavors with a mild spicy/herbal hop character, and a smooth, crisp finish.

Next up: English-Style Brown Ale called Leeroy Jenkins will drop this March. Brown ales ain’t exactly hot sellers, but they have their fans so if you want to see more of them come out and grab one at the outer northeast Portland taproom or SW Multnomah Village locations of Level Beer. Pleasant nutty, biscuit, caramel & toffee malt flavors with mild English hops.
