Stormbreaker Brewing releases 7 beers in cans

N. Portland’s Stormbreaker Brewing is back at it with more than half a dozen new beers in cans released over the past few days. The lineup comprises a variety of styles from hazy IPA to west coast, collaborations with Pono Brewing and Groundwork Coffee, as well as dessert beer and classic German bock. As always, Stormbreaker is available from their pubs on N. Mississippi Ave. and in the St. Johns neighborhood, as well as local bottleshops around the metro area.

The Hop Formerly Known as Samba

Style: Hazy IPA

ABV: 6.2%

Description: A hop by any other name still tastes as sweet - Zamba. A full body beer that's on the verge of being obscene, this "little yellow hazy" is so smooth it must be a Limousine. Used throughout boil and dry-hopping, our blend of Zamba, El Dorado, and Simcoe hops offer soft tropical aromas that burst into juicy "pineapple beret" and citrus flavors. With such amazingly unique qualities, Zamba may as well be called the Prince of hops.

Do You Smell What The Maibock is Cooking?

Style: Maibock

ABV: 6.4%

Description: It's Spring! You better recognize it with a classic German Maibock. Gaze upon this crisp and bold gold spectacle! Breathe in the lightly toasted malt aromas! Lesser beers cower rather than challenge its well rounded base - where soft bitterness meets bready sweetness. For THE FINISHER, experience the elbow drop of earthy, floral, spiced notes of German noble hops. So raise an eyebrow, and raise a glass, to the manifestation of Spring itself - Maibock!

Description: This SoCal inspired IPA will transport you to a sunny, sandy beach. Northwestern character classics of dank resin and tangerine combine with the brilliant aromas of lime and stone fruit from our New Zealand Dry Hop additions. If you weren't catching the vibe already, we doubled down with a healthy dose of concentrated lemon peel. With friends like Pono Brewing, and beer like this, lockdown just got a little sweeter!

BlondaVision

ABOUT STORMBREAKER

StormBreaker, besides being the name of our brewery, is a little known nickname for Mt. Hood, the majestic 11,000 foot volcano that casts its shadow on Portland every sunrise. We brew our beer like Mt. Hood breaks storms coming off the Pacific Ocean, head on with intensity. Whether you are looking for big hoppy IPA like Cloud Ripper, a fruity lighter option like When I Froot..., a pale ale that is Right as Rain, or pretty much any style, we've got you covered. We love our pub on Mississippi Ave. and meeting everyone that comes in! Welcome to StormBreaker Brewing, winner of an unknown amount of 4th place finishes at many a beer competition, and a gold here and there.
