Haze Tron

A new Imperial Hazy IPA to showcase innovative hop products

Haze Tron is a beer where the brewers cut loose on new hop products and innovation, optimizing the potential of hop products in fresh, new IPAs. Cryo hops and biotransformation, from active fermentation dry-hopping, deliver juicy tropical fruit character more impressive than artificial intelligence with hits of resin to balance out a deceptively smooth drinking Imperial Hazy IPA at 8% ABV.

Deschutes Family Tree Apple

Family Tree Apple

Ale brewed with fresh Oregon apples

This is the 3rd iteration of the ‘Family Tree’ fruited tart beers celebrating local partnerships with Oregon family-operated farms. The last iteration of Family Tree was a peach sour, the latest is an apple sour brewed with EZ Orchards. Working alongside Kevin Zielinski, the Orchardist and a traditional cider maker, to taste and create the blend together. This is a unique blend of Oregon grown apples, wild yeast, and bacteria that creates complexity. It is full of earthy, funky notes from the wild yeast and oak with some cider-like qualities.  Apple continues through to the flavor, and lactic acidity balances the dry finish. Family Tree Apple is 7% ABV and will be available in 500 ml bottles at Deschutes locations and direct to consumer through www.deschutesbrewery.com later this month.
