The app-based craft beer shipping powerhouse Tavour has been busy cataloging their impressive virtual bottleshop collection that makes regional sought after beers available across the country. Similar to apps like Untappd, the Tavour app promotes rating and reviewing their ever changing selection and uses those scores to determine which beers they will carry. Each week Tavour has been highlighting top rated beers, trends and themes and this week has drilled down on their Top 10 highest rated summer beers.
Tavour members are a specific crowd, largely craft beer connoisseurs looking to sample beers from across the country that they cant easily get their hands on. So for that reason the ratings tend to skew towards big, but small release hype beers and less the classic super store crushers that are easily available. It also begs the question of what is a summer beer? as this top 10 is all over the board in terms of styles. But it does serve as an interesting and informative snapshot of beer geekdom at this moment in time.
#10. Other Half Brewing - New York - Double Dry Hopped All Together IPA
