Public Coast Brewing Farm on the Oregon Coast opens for 2025 season

Cannon Beach, Oregon’s Public Coast Brewing is opening the Public Coast Farmstand in Banks, OR for their seasonal run on July 5th, 2025. The Culinary farm offers 10 acres of blueberry bushes, fruit orchards, beehives, hops , and more from their solar-powered greenhouse that helps supply sister properties - the Stephanie Inn and Public Coast Brewing Co. - each of which incorporate PublicCoast Farm’s fresh ingredients into seasonal beer and dishes.

With the opening of the summer farmstand, visitors are invited to U-Pick up to eight varieties of blueberries and shop for seasonal produce as well as enjoy a beer from Public Coast Brewing. This year, the proceeds from every Saturday U-Pick will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Whether you’re on your way to the coast or looking for fresh summer produce outside of the city limits, Public Coast is the perfect unique stop.

Public Coast Farm is a 40-acre culinary farm nestled at the base of the Coastal Range along the iconic Sunset Highway, Oregon Hwy. 26 and 30 minutes from downtown Portland. 15 of the 40 acres of property are full of blueberry bushes, fruit orchards, beehives and hops, the farm is a culinary playground that celebrates alchemy: the transformation of simple, beautiful, locally produced ingredients into culinary magic.

With the opening of the summer farmstand at 22330 NW Fisher Rd, visitors are invited to U-pick up to eight varieties of blueberries and shop for seasonal produce as well as enjoy a beer from Public Coast Brewing. The farmstand will also feature live music from local bands on Saturdays from 2pm to 4pm.

Blueberries have been a signature ingredient for Public Coast Brewing ever since they established the farm, the fresh berries are featured in everything from their recent Blueberry Stout, and housemade Jam preserves, to a Blueberry Seltzer. But that’s not all they feature at the farm. Currently for the season you can purchase multiple varieties of Heirloom tomatoes, basil, microgreens, peppers, honey, jam, and of course their own cold beer by the can which you can enjoy while perusing the grounds and picking fresh berries.

Some of the other Public Coast Farm specialties include Honeycrisp, Ambrosia, and Early Fuji apples. Sun crest, Canadian harmony, and Redhaven peaches. They also produce small-batch, single-origin honey by the jar, from 40 custom hives on the north side of the farm.

    • Offerings include U-Pick, Public Coast Beverages as well as light bites and snack options available for purchase. 

Where: Public Coast Farm is located along Dairy Creek at 22330 NW Fisher Rd in Banks, just adjacent to the popular Banks-Vernonia State Trail. It’s also part of the North Coast Food Trail. 

The main Public Coast Brewing location is in downtown Cannon Beach, Ore., Public Coast Brewing is named after one of the only true public coastlines in America - the 363-mile Oregon coast. The brewery features a 10bbl brewhouse with two 20-barrel fermenters and four 10-barrel fermenters. The brewery has won numerous awards, including a gold for its '67 Blonde Ale at the World Beer Cup and Oregon Beer Awards.
