Final taplist for the New Oregon Breweries Showcase
This Tuesday, August 24th the New School brings back our long running annual event the New Oregon Breweries Showcase, and today we have the beer list ready to reveal. Previously held at the late and lamented Bailey’s Taproom in downtown Portland, this years events is an indoor/outdoor tap takeover at Imperial Bottle Shop & Taproom on SE Division with plenty of street seating and 10 different breweries for a total of 19 beers (not including samples.)
Since the New School launched in early 2010 we have focused on the brand new players of the Oregon craft beer scene, not just the ones from Portland. At the New Oregon Breweries Showcase we get to invite the known, and lesser known new breweries from across the entire state to come to town, meet each other, local beer fans, and share their beers and brand. This tap takeover style event kicks off when Imperial opens at 3pm, but we expect all the brewers/owners to be there in person from 4-7pm and some will even have schwag and pour samples of extra beers from crowlers or growlers. No cover charge, no tickets, no fuss, just show up and order some new beer.
