Ecliptic Brewing releases Pink Boots Collaboration edition of Vega IPA

Ecliptic Vega IPA Pink Boots collaboration

Ecliptic Brewing’s rotating experimental hops and techniques Vega IPA series is back with a special Pink Boots Collaboration for it’s 13th iteration. Pink Boots Society is the international industry trade group that was started to represent women in the craft beer industry and has now expanded to include women in other areas of fermentation such as cider.

Vega IPA #13 will begin shipping today in draft and 16-ounce can four-packs.

More from a press release:

Last month, Ecliptic Brewing registered to be an official Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day partner, in honor of International Women’s Day. As explained on their website, “Pink Boots Society was created to assist, inspire and encourage women and/or non-binary individuals in the fermented and alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.”

Ecliptic’s special PBC release is Vega IPA #13, which features Yakima Chief Hops 2022 Pink Boots Blend. This 5th annual blend consists of HBC 630, Idaho Gem®, Loral®, Talus® and Triumph hops, and three dollars per pound sold will be donated to the Pink Boots Society scholarship fund. The beer is hopped exclusively with the blend and is both floral and fruity. Finishing clean and dry, Vega IPA #13 showcases bright melon and orange notes.

Ecliptic Brewing will donate $1 per pint sold of this beer to Pink Boots Society. The cans are adorned with a pink sticker to indicate this version of Vega IPA, and the PakTechs will also feature a PBC sticker. Vega IPA #13 will be available throughout Ecliptic Brewing’s distribution network in both draft and 16-ounce cans, starting April 6th.

About the Vega IPA Series

Vega IPA is an experimental hop playground for our curious and creative brewers to continuously source new and unique hops. Exploring the boundaries of the IPA style, the result is a fresh and distinctly different IPA with each new release. The batch # of this Vega IPA rotation is on the sticker, printed on the bottom of the can and on the keg collar.
