Fire on the Mountain brings their Wings and Beer to Bend

Arguably Oregon’s best known wings restaurant, Fire on the Mountain, is bringing their super popular food and less known house-brewed beers to Bend, Oregon. Fire on the Mountain is teaming up with the stylish and affordable central downtown Bend located Campfire Hotel, to open a restaurant on their property with all of the signature wing sauces and beers they are known for, complete with room service delivery.

The Campfire Hotel location will be FOTM’s first location in central Oregon, joining their existing family of locations in Portland and Denver. Campfire Hotel is currently renovating a standalone building on their property for Fire on the Mountain to tentatively open in spring of 2023.

FOTM opened in 2005 at its original Portland location on N. Interstate Avenue in Portland before gaining uber-popularity with their current 1708 E Burnside St, location. It was in 2011 that FOTM expanded to their largest space yet at 3443 NE 57th Ave on Fremont St. and built their own on-site brewery that currently brews almost exclusively for their locations, occasionally making appearances at festivals.

According to legend, the original Buffalo wing was invented years ago  at the famed Anchor Bar in upstate New York. Forty years later, FOTM owners Sara Sawicki and Jordan Busch brought this Buffalo tradition to the Northwest and have continued to share their secret sauce. Now the secret will be out in Bend with the opening of their newest location.

FOTM sources its wings from cage-free, antibiotic-free, hormone-free, and humanely raised chicken. The restaurant also uses all-natural beef and pork that are both humanely and sustainably raised.

FOTM is expected to open in spring or early summer, joining Campfire Hotel’s team of onsite food and beverage purveyors. That includes the new Juice Easy Cafe, a concept by master "juiceologist" Bobby Humbert that offers fresh, plant-based juices, a perfect breakfast companion to the cafe’s breakfast burger or chicken' n waffle bowl. Guests at Campfire can now order directly to their room for an in-room dining experience, too.

While all of Campfire Hotel's culinary offerings  are provided by independent operators, each is an integral part of the fabric of the hotel's service and hospitality programs. Onsite dining is open Wednesday through Sunday, and includes the Canteen Bar and Juice Easy Cafe.
