Great Notion promises their Haziest IPA yet for 7th Anniversary Celebration

West coast pioneers of hazy NE-style IPA, Great Notion Brewing, are celebrating their 7th anniversary with their haziest IPA yet. Saturday, January 28th the Portland makers of pastry dessert sours and thick stouts are going back to their roots for a 7-year anniversary party and barrel-aged beer bash and the release of anniversary beer DDH DIPA 7 Dollar Bill.

Apparently this is the first time that Great Notion has actually celebrated an anniversary with a party, which is pretty incredible on its own. That may be why GN brewers are not holding back the haze on the celebratory 7 Dollar Bill, which will go on sale from the Great Notion App and webstore starting at 9 am on Friday 1/27 while the official party kicks off at noon on Saturday, January 28th at their northwest location at 2444 NW 28th Ave., Portland, OR 97210 .

The Saturday, 1/28 Draft List is still being finalized but they plan to have the following bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stouts on draft:  Marshmallow Double Stack, Peanut Brother, Punk Beast, Frenched Toast, Blueberry Pancakes, and Mad Batter. 

7 Dollar Bill, the anniversary release is a double dry hopped hazy double IPA, that the brewery promises is bursting over the top with haze and hops like never before with Citra, Strata and Phantasm! 

There will be food specials and also a mobile tattoo artist inking up fun Great Notion character tattoos
