MidCity Smashed Burger opens at Binary Brewing in Beaverton

If you are a smashburger connoisseur, then MidCity Smashedburger is probably on your radar. The Portland founded food truck has been called the best smashburger joint in Portland by The Oregonian, and recently named 4th best burger in the U.S., now they are coming to Beaverton, and taking up residence at Binary Brewing.


Binary Brewing has been operating their own separate burgers and small fried foods kitchen called MegaBites, out of the taproom since it opened in September 2022. MidCity recently closed their location at the Cartside pod. BinaryBrewing.co on SW Broadway St. in Beaverton. will be MidCity Smashedburger’s fourth location, and introduce itself at the Downtown Beaverton Art Walk on Friday, Dec. 1. from 6 to 9 p.m., where complimentary Smashy Bois will be served from 6 to 8 p.m. The Smashy Boi incorporates 100% fresh never, frozen all-beef patties, American cheese, and MidCity Smashedburger’s legendary SmashSauce between two Franz Bakery buns.

The event will highlight the artistic talents of Mike Bennett, the creative genius behind the Smashy Boi logo, with his "Snow Day'' exhibit at Miracle Sign Co. next door to the new location. The MidCity Smashedburger Beaverton location officially opens its doors for regular service on Thursday, Dec. 7, with business hours set to run Tuesday through Sunday, 12 to 9 p.m.

Originating as a pop-up food cart, it has evolved into a community staple, inviting all to experience the fusion of classic and contemporary burger artistry.
