Avid Cider celebrates 10th Anniversary with 10 Events and 10 Cider releases

Avid Cider, previously known as Atlas Cider, is the second largest cidery in Oregon and this year celebrates their 10th anniversary. The Bend, Oregon based cidery that was acquired by Blake’s Hard Cider out of Michigan in 2022, is celebrating 10 with a month-long celebration at their taproom, and 10 individual taproom cider releases saying thank you to their customers and community support.

Events have been a key component to Avid’s brand identity since their inception. From building a skate park in their taproom to a full-blown carnival experience in their parking lot, their fans always look forward to the experiences surrounding their cider. “This year we are looking to bring back some fan favorite events while introducing brand new celebration ideas,” said Sam Roberts, Owner and CEO of Avid Cider. “From our Woofapalooza dog day event to our Moon Vibes DJ Party, there is something for everyone to enjoy while helping us celebrate this milestone” she continued.

In addition to their events, Avid Cider is also releasing 10 new cider recipes throughout the month. “When thinking about how we wanted to celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary, we knew that cider should play a large roll,” said Finn Leahy, Marketing Manager at Avid Cider. “We are excited to release a variety of new experimental flavors such as Beach Side Mai Tai, Chamoyada, and Huckleberry” he continued.

Avid Cider’s month-long celebration of ’10 Years Strong’ begins on June 1 with their first cider release and continues until their finale event on June 30. For the full cider release and event line up, fans are encouraged to visit their website at Avidcider.com/10years

AVID Cider Co. was founded as a result of dissatisfaction with the lack of variety and excessively dry or cloyingly sweet ciders available in the marketplace in 2013. We saw the opportunity to create hard cider that better balances the elements of a flavor profile and satiates our thirst for a cider that is “just right.” With our roots in Bend, Oregon, the heart of the PNW, we have the privilege of seeing our apples freshly pressed and fermenting within the same day; we are on a mission to bring out the best of the Northwest with our clean, natural, and locally sourced cider.
