TopWire Hop Project reopens for 2023 beer garden season with Block 15 Topwire IPA Series

TopWire Hop Project, the hop farm beer garden at Crosby Hops in Woodburn, Oregon, has reopened for the 2023 season. TopWire boasts one of the most unique drinking experiences in the country where you can literally watch the hop bines springing up around the all outdoors space. The TopWire tap list features beers brewed by Crosby Hops customers from around the country and craft beers showcasing classic and novel hop varieties from the farm. To celebrate their Spring to Fall open season, TopWire has teamed up with Corvallis, Oregon’s Block 15 Brewing for a TopWire IPA series.

Using CGX Cryogenic Lupulin Pellets, TopWire IPA Block No. 01 features Nelson Sauvin CGX and Riwaka CGX sourced directly from Crosby Hops and estate-grown Comet from Crosby Hop Farms. The first of the series, and the rest to follow, will be available only at Topwire Hop Project and Block 15 Brewing locations on May 5th.

“As a beer garden located in the middle of Crosby Hop Farm, TopWire has built a reputation for serving the highest quality beverages for hop lovers. It’s only natural to team up with one of the best to bring our signature TopWire IPA to life, and we couldn’t be more excited about our partnership with Block 15. We know our customers will fall in love upon the first sip, surrounded by our hops in the summer sunshine.” – Anthony Mottola, General Manager, TopWire Hop Project.

About the Beer:

CGX Cryogenic Lupulin Pellets uses Advanced cryogenic technology that separates lupulin from whole-hop cones to deliver concentrated lupulin pellets jam-packed with resins and oils. The result is both environmentally friendly while preserving the character of each hop in full expression.

“We are extremely excited to be collaborating with Crosby on this project year and helping showcase their new CGX products. The opportunity to make this beer and partner up with Crosby helps highlight our mutual commitment to sustainable business practices, and the use of high-quality, locally sourced ingredients in our products.” - Matt Williams, Brewery Director, Block 15 Brewing.

The next of the series, Topwire IPA Block No. 02 will be released mid to the end of June at Topwire Hop Project and Block 15 Brewing locations.
