Small Brewery of the Year, Alesong Brewing, releases 3 new beers

Featuring the highly anticipated annual release of Rhino Suit alongside two brand new blends

Fresh off their big wins at the 2024 Great American Beer Festival where they were named small brewery of the year, Alesong Brewing & Blending has three new Autumn beer releases on draft and in 500ml bottles. The beers will be released the weekend of November 14-17 at their Eugene, Oregon wine country tasting room and to retailers across the Pacific Northwest shortly thereafter.  This release features three new beers for the upcoming holiday season:

Rhino Suit is Alesong’s legendary barrel-aged stout. One of the first beers released by the young brewery back in 2016 and a perennial favorite, this year’s version was aged in freshly emptied Heaven Hill bourbon barrels and brings all the balanced chocolatey richness and smooth drinkability that you’ve come to expect from Rhino Suit.

An extension of the flagship bourbon-barrel-aged stout, a small batch blend of Peppermint Rhino Suit adds a hefty dose of locally roasted cocoa and Willamette Valley grown peppermint.  Curl up by the fire and get your holiday dessert fix with layered notes of chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, and peppermint.

Raspberry Commons is Alesong’s newest expression of tart, Willamette Valley raspberries, going through a co-fermentation on biodynamically grown raspberries from right next door prior to extended barrel-aging and then another addition of raspberries at bottling for double raspberry goodness against the backdrop of our award-winning, Flanders-red-inspired, base beer.

Alesong will host a release party exclusively for Blender’s Circle members at their country brewery the weekend of November 14-17, featuring small bite food pairings to accompany each new beer and will have all three of the new beers available on draft and in bottles for non-members the following weekend alongside the normal menu from their on-site scratch kitchen. Rhino Suit and Raspberry Commons will be available at better retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest beginning the week of the brewery release.
