Single Hill Brewing opening Seattle location

Yakima, Washington-based Single Hill Brewing is opening their second ever location in Seattle.

Single Hill Commons is a new location on the west side of the brewery dense Ballard neighborhood that will be taking over the space formerly occupied by Outpouring Bottle Shop, 6400 24th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98117. The Seattle Single Hill will be a place for beer, wine, and community that extends outward from Single Hill’s signature hazy and cutting edge hop-driven beers that they are known for and into guest taps, cans, and bottles.

While Single Hill’s beer will be the primary focus of this new venture, the Single Hill Commons will retain robust on- and off-premise wine and beer programs in the style of its predecessor, Outpouring.

“We don’t want this to feel like ‘just another brewery in Ballard,’” said Andrew Pytel, the Director of Sales & Marketing for Single Hill, “so we’re keeping space on our tap list and in our to-go coolers to feature breweries we like and respect. Many in the neighborhood knew Outpouring as a wine bar, so we’ve decided to commit to that side of the business, as well.”

This will be Single Hill’s first retail location in the Seattle area, but not the first time that Single Hill beer has been available in the city. Single Hill beer has been distributed to the Seattle area in different capacities since 2019. Currently, Single Hill is partnered with River Barrel Distributing in the region, and its offerings can be found at various bottle shops, beer bars, restaurants, and more.

The Single Hill Commons is expected to open its doors on August 1st, 2024.
