Alesong Brewing announces summer beer releases and collaboration variant of The Abyss

Featuring two collaborations and two returning, fan-favorite, cocktail-inspired blends

Eugene, Oregon’s barrel-aged and wild ale brewery - Alesong Brewing & Blending - has announced four new summer blended beers releasing August 15 - 18th, 2025. Two of the releases are returning classics, another an ongoing series, and the other a one-of-a-kind collaboration with Deschutes Brewery and Oregon’s most famous stout - The Abyss.

The beers will debut at Alesong’s idyllic countryside tasting room in the outskirts of Eugene, a destination worthy location with a great view and patio with custom food pairings and selection of rare drafts and bottles. Look for bottle and limited edition draft of Alesong’s latest releases, they are available via self-distribution at fine taprooms and bottle shops in the pacific northwest (and sometimes beyond!)

  • Gose Añejo probably doesn’t really need an intro at this point for the fourth vintage release, but it’s Alesong’s refreshing and summery, margarita-inspired beer aged in tequila barrels with lime, orange, and agave… Take a trip to the playa with us through beer!

  • Another returning cocktail-inspired favorite, Old Fashioned is a blend of bourbon-barrel-aged strong ales that is rich in notes of vanilla, caramel, and bourbon, finished on a dash of orange peel for the citrus garnish you’d expect.  Member Exclusive bottle!

  • Showstopper ‘24 is part of our now ongoing collaboration series with Eugene’s Hult Center for the Performing Arts.  This year’s is a rich imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels with cocoa and vanilla for a perfect theater sipper! Look for it at the Hult center all season long.

  • And for the final beer in our release, Alesong is thrilled to unveil a totally new concept that in collaboration with their friends at Deschutes Brewery - Vin to the Abyss is a barrel aged imperial milk stout with Merlot grapes for a decadent blending of our two favorite beverages!

Alesong will host a release party exclusively for Blender’s Circle members at their country brewery the weekend of August 15-18, featuring small bite food pairings to accompany each new beer and will have all of the beers available on draft and in bottles for non-members the following weekend alongside their normal kitchen menu. Gose Añejo and Vin to the Abyss will be available at better retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest beginning the week of the brewery release.

ABOUT ALESONG BREWING AND BLENDING: Alesong Brewing and Blending is an award-winning artisan brewery, winery, and cidery based in the heart of Southern Willamette Valley wine country outside Eugene, Oregon. With 100% of production spending time in oak, Alesong crafts unique and small-batch blends, producing styles that span the flavor spectrum. As the beer, wine, or cider in barrels matures, the team samples and selects each barrel individually to create a final blend. Paying homage to old-world Lambic blenders and artisan winemakers, Alesong strives to achieve complex and balanced final blends that are much more interesting and complete than the sum of their parts or any individual barrel by itself.
