Bauman’s Cider Fall Equinox Wood-Fired Pizza Party w/ DJ, & Cocktails

The acclaimed Gervais, Oregon cidery Bauman’s, is throwing a Fall Equinox party on Sat. September 21st, at their new Portland hotspot Bauman’s on Oak. The inner southeast Portland location of Bauman’s (formerly Ecliptic Moon Room, and Base camp Brewing before that) is now where the majority of their cider production takes place, and they have killer restaurant and cider garden for a taproom.

From 4:00 to 8:30 pm on 9/21, Bauman’s on Oak Head Chef Daniel Green and Alexandra Williams of Lovely's Fifty Fifty will have the pizza oven up-and-running, slinging pies topped with seasonal ingredients, hand-pulled cheese, balanced on a house-leavened sourdough crust. Special guest bartender Jim Meehan, James Beard award-winning author of Meehan’s Bartender Manual and The Bartender’s Pantry, will be mixing up delicious cocktails until 8:30 pm.

Local artist DJ Nature will be spinning tracks from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, and from 9:00 to midnight the party will continue with special guest, NYC’s Chances with Wolves. The DJ duo will be producing their energetic, eclectic tunes live.

And, of course, the Bauman’s Cider Co. team will be pouring 30 ciders, beers, and wines on tap— including their seasonal Fresh Hopped Cider, and their brand new year-round Oak St. Dry both of which were just released last week.

The space will be open to the public from 4:00-8:30 pm. Tickets for the dance party from 9:00 to midnight are available online for $10, and can be purchased at the door for $15.
