St. John’s Winter Beer Fest expands to 2 weekends and 2 locations
The St. John’s Winter Beer Festival is expanding to include an adjacent spinoff winter festival in closer in central Portland. Originally founded more than a decade ago at St. John’s neighborhood taproom Plew’s Brews, the festival has been reimagined multiple times before landing at Stormbreaker Brewing’s St. John’s location in the same space that was once Plew’s.
First up is the St. John’s Winter Beer Festival, taking place on Friday, January 17, 2025, and Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Storm breaker Brewing St. John’s location at 8409 N Lombard St, Portland, OR 97203.
The festivities continue the following weekend with the launch of the inaugural NoPo Winter Beer Festival on Friday, January 24, 2025, and Saturday, January 25, 2025, at StormBreaker’s original Mississippi Ave. location at 832 N Beech St, Portland, OR 97227.
Each festival will feature three sessions:
Friday Night: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Saturday Evening: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Both festivals will feature an incredible selection of beer, cider, cocktails, and mocktails, as well as some delicious food specials crafted just for the events.
