Stoup Distro expands to Spokane bringing Russian River Brewing with them

Seattle, Washington-based Stoup Brewing is expanding their side-business Stoup Distro to Spokane, Washington. Stoup Distro was started in 2022 in partnership with Portland’s Day One Distribution founder Robbie Roda to distribute independent craft breweries beers around Washington with a limited service area along the I-5 corridor from Tacoma to Seattle and Bellingham.

The expansion of Stoup Distro's footprint will launch with an initial drop of Russian River Brewing Company (RRBC) into Spokane in the next couple of weeks. The northern California-based Russian River is one of the most popular and sought after brands in the country, the makers of such beers as Pliny the Elder and Pliny the Younger, Blind Pig IPA, STS Pilsner, and the ‘tion series of Belgian-style beers and lambic-inspired fruited sours.

When asked about opening a new Washington State territory, Natalie Cilurzo, Co-Owner and President of Russian River Brewing Company, said, “We are very excited to hear that the folks at Stoup Brewing are expanding their distribution footprint into Spokane and taking us with them. This has been a strong craft beer market and we hope will provide good potential growth opportunities for both Stoup and RRBC!”

While the first step is starting distribution of Stoup Brewing’s own beers and Russian River Brewing beers, they plan to assess the demand and start monthly drops of other brands in the Stoup Distro portfolio such as Wayfinder Beer, Standard Brewing, and Fieldwork Brewing.

Stoup Distro is getting the word out now ahead of their expansion so they can start to build an east side of Washington customer base. All inquiries should be sent to distro@stoupbrewing.com
