TopWire Hop Project reopens for 2025 season

TopWire Hop Project hop bines beer garden

The seasonal hop farm beer garden TopWire Hop Project is reopening in Woodburn, Oregon (about 30 miles south of Portland) this Saturday, April 26th 2025.

Located at Crosby Hop Farm (8668 Crosby Rd NE, Woodburn, OR 97071) in the rural part of Woodburn not far from the outlet malls, the TopWire Hop Project has become a destination location for their spacious outdoor beer garden surrounded by hop fields. Drive down Lupulin Lane (a half-mile entrance through lush 18-feet high hop rows) before arriving at TopWire.

Though the hop bones are only beginning to climb their trellis in April, in the next few months they will be full of leaves and lush hop cones ripe for the picking ahead of the hop harvest and fresh hop season in late summer. TopWire is all outdoors with the bar onstructed out of a large shipping container with a modern architectural approach. The seating is spacious, spread out over a nearly soccer field sized grassy lawn where people of all ages and dogs on leash can gather and play.

Drinks

TopWire Hop Project keeps a carefully curated packaged beer selection and draft list, often featuring beers from the Pacific Northwest and rarities to our area from out of the market that feature Crosby’s hops. The draft selection is varied, primarily featuring craft beers, but consistently a hopped seltzer and cider from 10 always rotating taps. They also offer wine by the glass or by the bottle, and during the busier summer and fall months open a second tap station near the back of the beer garden.

Food Trucks

This year TopWire is expanding their on-site food trucks. Returning food trucks Curry Bai and Real Mexican are back, and they are adding Lively Station (smash burgers), and in June they will be joined by Butteville Store (handmade ice cream.) Also coming in on select dates is the popular brewery pizza bus Hearth & Soul which will be popping up once a month on select dates May to November when TopWire closes again until this time next year.
