Fremont Brewing debuts year-round Triple IPA in 19.2oz cans and 6-packs

Seattle, Washington-based Fremont Brewing’s new Extra Lush Triple IPA may be the only year-round IIIPA in the Pacific Northwest and could be one of the best bang-for-your-buck beers on the market for hopheads. The release is a play for the newly popular large format 19.2oz can market which has replaced the 22oz bombers of old, and is popular with consumers in high abv styles so you can catch a buzz off a single can at a low price point.

Extra Lush Triple IPA, a bold, tropical-inspired evolution of one of its most beloved beers - Lush IPA. Building on the legacy of Lush IPA, this triple IPA is built on a foundation of 2-Row Pale malt and layered with an expressive blend of Citra, Mosaic, Citra Cryo, Mosaic Quantum Brite, and Citra Quantum Brite hops. The result is a tropical hop profile that delivers bright, citrusy aromas of orange and grapefruit with layers of resinous pine, stone fruit, and pineapple.

Extra Lush Triple IPA is weighing in at 9.8% ABV and packed with citrusy, juicy character. And the price point at $4.50 for an Extra Lush 19.2 can and $12.99 for a 6-pack 12 oz. cans can’t be beat.

“This is the beer our brewers have always wanted to make,” said Fremont Brewing CEO and Founder Matt Lincecum. “We took everything people love about Lush and turned the dial to 11. Extra Lush is our way of showing what’s possible when you go all in on hops and flavor.”

Extra Lush Triple IPA is available now in 12 oz. 6-packs and 19.2 oz. single cans at both of Fremont’s Urban Beer Garden locations and select retailers. To learn more or locate Extra Lush near you, visit www.fremontbrewing.com.
