Brews for New Avenues’ finale marks end to world’s largest rare beer auction
The 14th Annual Brews for New Avenues: The world’s largest rare beer auction to help end youth homelessness
New Avenues for Youth presents the 14th Annual Brews for New Avenues – the world’s premiere rare beer auction that showcases one of Portland’s most beloved annual events. Since its founding, this unique celebration of beer and philanthropy has raised nearly $2 million for New Avenues for Youth, a Portland nonprofit supporting youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness This year marks the grand finale of the large scale festival, with an ambitious goal: to raise $250,000 in one day to sustain these critical programs into the future .
The event features an unmatched lineup of more than 50 different breweries from around the world, a lively food truck area featuring local legends - Niños Birrieria, Williams Good Sandwich, and FOMO Rice, and live music from crowd-pleasers The Kinky Brothers. Attendees will also be able to purchase mystery bottles from the highly anticipated Untapped Wall of Beer, visit the Pilsner Pavilion outside sponsored by Edward Jones, and taste special limited releases from this year’s guest brewers Brujos Brewing, Holy Mountain Brewing, and all the way from Guatemala, Cerveza Entremares, as well as special selections from 3 Fonteinen and Cantillon.
Hundreds of beer enthusiasts, many of whom travel to Portland from around the globe, are expected to attend this year’s event. The exclusive VIP early access includes first pours of limited releases, complimentary oysters from Taylor Shellfish and Haystack Shellfish, and a head-start on the silent auction of ultra-rare bottles. When General Admission opens at 3:30, the full festival comes alive with music, food, the Wall of Beer, and the electric energy of the live rare beer auction on the Travel Portland Mainstage.
Live Music Fans, festival goers, and supporters of the cause to end youth homelessness will find themselves at home in this event for the approachable price of $30.

Last year’s event raised more than $250,000 -- a testament to the power of craft beer to make a difference in our community.
