Block 15 introduces new year-round canned beer Joy Pale Ale
Block 15 Brewing Company has announced just their fourth year-round beer in cans, the new Joy Pale Ale. Pale Ales seem to be making a comeback after the typically maltier and lighter cousin to IPA fell off in the last decade. Joy Pale Ale makes use of the new Talus hop, a variety that is being talked about for it’s similarity to Galaxy hops with a bold tropical punch and sticky dankness. Block 15’s Distribution Company will distribute Joy Pale Ale to bottle shops and markets in Oregon and Washington.
“A fantastic evolution of our hop-forward program, Joy fits perfectly into our lineup as a progressive pale ale” said Block 15 founder Nick Arzner. “Balancing water chemistry and late hopping with soft malt and expressive yeast has rounded Joy into a beer that is vibrant and full of character. This pale is truly unique and very approachable, coming in at 5.6% ABV.”
About Joy Pale Ale Joy blends a pillowy-soft malt profile with a trifecta of tropical, citrus, and orchard fruit hop character. This nuanced, modern-day pale ale is brewed often, canned fresh, and designed to be enjoyed year-round. Drink your joy!
