2018 Hophouse IPA Challenge

The seventh annual Hophouse IPA Challenge runs the entire month of January, featuring a blind tasting competition of twelve Oregon IPAs. Customers are invited to come by either Hawthorne Hophouse or 15th Avenue Hophouse to try and correctly identify the twelve beers and choose their favorite. The winner at the end of the month will become a permanent tap for the rest of 2018.Identify six or more of the flight right and win prizes like hoodies, shirts, growlers and gift cards. Choose your favorite beer for the permanent tap for the year--past winners include Boneyard RPM IPA, Fort George Vortex, Barley Browns Pallet Jack, and Breakside IPA.This year's competition will bring the ability to instantly check your results from a smartphone on the website in real time. You’ll take the Challenge in the pub, get your results instantly, and either hide in shame or have bragging rights for years to come.
