Hopworks Urban Brewery Vancouver Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary
Hopworks Urban Brewery opened its 3rd location in Vancouver, Washington, in the last days of 2016 and are now celebrating the location's 1 Year Anniversary on Wednesday, January 17th. Check out our first look preview of HUB Vancouver here, then go one Wednesday to enjoy a full day of specials and three new Vancouver-brewed beers: Pillow Fight, Lacamas Porter, and a Vancouver-only Secession CDA.
Beers will be at happy hour prices all day, and we’re also preparing a number of new food specials. HUB will be giving away Mug Club Memberships to a guest every couple hours and also have raffles throughout the day. If you want to bring in the kiddos, treat them to special face painting between 5-8pm.
The list of beers:
Pillow Fight NEIPA - We took VIPA (Vancouver IPA) but clipped the bite from its fangs and re-imagined it as a New England-Style IPA. Super hazy and super aromatic without the bitterness of it's big brother. This one goes down easy with nothing to stand between you and your next sip.
Lacamas Porter - A porter with rich sweetness, an abundance of chocolate malt, and a sturdy body. This beer will taste fantastic on those hard and cold winter nights.
Secession Cascadian Dark Ale - An alliance of Northwest hops as formidable as the Cascade Mountain Range and roasted malts as dark as a cloud-covered night sky. We brewed this Cascadian Dark Ale in Vancouver, for Vancouver, months before the planned release in Portland.
