2018 Portland Beer Week Announces Marquee Events
The 2018 Portland Beer Week, an 11 day celebration of craft beer in the greatest beer city on earth, will be held this June 7-17th. An early lineup of marquee Portland Beer Week events has been announced and tickets are on sale for the Kickoff Party at Oregon Zoo, Portland Fruit Beer Festival, Seminar Series, Masters of IPA Invitational, and Snackdown!, the closing brewer/chef showdown event.
KICKOFF PARTY at the OREGON ZOO
Kick off 10 days of beer week events with an all-ages party at the Oregon Zoo park featuring over two dozen local beers and ciders and food vendors. Each ticket gets you full entrance to the zoo, three beers, and free activities like axe throwing lanes, giant outdoor games, free veggie burgers, Hotlips Pizza, DJs, and more.Advanced tickets here.FB Event Page here.
PORTLAND FRUIT BEER FESTIVAL
The world's premier fruit beer event returns June 8-10th under an expanded tent and outdoor street party at 7th and E. Burnside. This year's festival features over 50 new fruit beers and ciders in a variety of styles from lagers, to sours, IPAs, and stouts. The range of fruits has just as much depth, from tangy and citrusy to rich and tropical. There will be mango, pineapple, tangerine, strawberry, cherry, raspberry, orange, lemon, and lime, just to name a few. Advanced tickets are now on sale for your choice of glassware or branded plastic drinking vessel.
NEW OREGON BREWERIES SHOWCASE
The New School presents the annual New Oregon Breweries Showcase at Bailey's Taproom on Monday, June 11th. This free to attend event features new breweries that have opened in the last year from across the state ,with all the brewers/owners in attendance from 5-8pm.
SEMINAR SERIES
The annual beer week seminar series continues with fun, educational events exploring the inner-working of beer production, marketing and business. Five different seminars will be held, one daily M-F of beer week and all are on sale-now.

PORTLAND BEER AND CHEESE FESTIVAL
The 7th annual Beer and Cheese Fest on Sat. June 16th explores the world's best food and drink pairings with ten carefully selected beer and cheese pairings by masters cheesemonger Steve Jones. Attendees who purchase an all inclusive ticket will also be treated to complimentary charcuterie and artisan chocolate from Xocolatl de David. Advanced general admission and VIP tickets are now on sale for this popular annual event.
SNACKDOWN! Brewer/Chef Pairing Showdown
Portland Beer Week & Gigantic Brewing present SNACKDOWN! on Sunday June 17th at The Evergreen event space above Loyal Legion. SNACKDOWN! is a fun and entertaining food and beer pairing event where 10 of Portland's best chefs and 10 Oregon brewers are paired into 10 teams to make their greatest snack and beer pairing. Guests will choose their favorite pairing and the winners will be awarded the SNACKDOWN Belt!This event is designed to be more fun and loose than your standard beer dinner. Imagine a WWF-style Smackdown with brewers and chefs hyping their pairing on the mic--possibly while sporting wrestling themed costume. DJ Rev Shines will be on the decks keeping the party live. $49 advanced ticket includes all 10 small plates and TEN 5oz beer pours + a collectible glass.SNACKDOWN!
