Level Beer One Year Anniversary Party and Beer Garden Grand Opening

Outer northeast Portland's Level Beer is celebrating its one year anniversary and the grand opening of a new Beer Garden this Saturday, July 7th from 11am to 11pm. What's that, you say? Level already has a great covered greenhouse beer garden? True, but the brewery is opening a new backyard outdoor space from the barn outside the small hop field behind the building. The additional outdoor bar and beer garden will be a seasonal addition and double as an event space.More from a press release:Level Beer will release a kolsch as their “Level One” anniversary beer.  They will also release a limited amount of “Fuck Jeff Sessions,” a hazy IPA with CBD.  The event is family-friendly and will include a bouncy house, dunk tank, live music, face painting, special beer releases, a limited edition T shirt, raffle prizes, cornhole, and more.  Food will be available from Flor de Guelaguetza (Oaxacan), Bam Pow (burgers), 808 Grinds(Hawaiian), Tidal Boar Foods (fresh oysters on the half shell). Owners Geoff Phillips of Bailey’s Taproom, Shane Watterson, former head brewer of Laurelwood, and Jason Barbee, former head brewer of Ex-Novo cumulatively have decades of experience in the Oregon beer industry. Brewer owned and operated, Level Beer has quickly become a staple in NE Portland. Level Beer was named one of Beer Advocate’s 50 best new breweries in 2017.  For more information on the event, please visit https://www.facebook.com/events/1824155890963297/
