OLCC Announces Spirit Magazine and Chance to Purchase Pappy Van Winkle Bottles

The Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) is celebrating the holiday season in its own way, by launching Spirited Oregon Magazine and announcing a drawing to win a chance to purchase Pappy Van Winkle and Buffalo Trace Antique Collection bourbons. The OLCC has teamed up with LeisureMedia360 to produce the  Spirited Oregon magazine three times a year. Meanwhile, starting this Thanksgiving Thursday the OLCC will run a contest online to be able to purchase bottles of many rare, highly sought-after whiskeys, more details on that and the list of bottles are below.
OLCC announced the new publication on Tuesday, November 20th, and in a press release stated:
We’re excited about  Spirited Oregon magazine and the opportunity it presents for consumers, licensees and retailers statewide. Oregon has a growing culture of mixology and pioneering spirit of innovation and creation in distilled spirits. The goal is to increase awareness not only of the product lines available in Oregon liquor stores, but to keep it local in spirit – using only Oregon writers, and celebrating Oregon’s people, places, and flavors surrounding distilled spirits in Oregon.
Spirited Oregon is completely funded through advertising and the spirits industry. The publication is produced in partnership with LeisureMedia360, which produces similar spirits-focused magazines for Virginia, Idaho, Michigan, Ohio and Montgomery Count, Maryland.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, the OLCC today announced the second public drawing for rare and limited edition liquors Pappy Van Winkle and Buffalo Trace Distillery Antique Collection. The chance to enter opens at midnight tomorrow/Thanksgiving and runs for 11 days, until 11pm on Sunday, Dec. 2nd.
