Gigantic Brewing releases Scotch barrel-aged MASSIVE! Barleywine

Gigantic Brewing has something impressive up their sleeves, something MASSIVE! Scotch Barrel-aged Massive Barleywine will hit this Saturday, December 8th, 2018 with only 30 cases of bottles.  There will be vertical tastings and vintage bottles for sale as well as bottle pours of the new scotch barrel version available at the Portland breweries tasting room for the release party.Saturday December 8th!.More from a press release:In making MASSIVE! Scotch Barrel Aged we used only British Golden Promise malt and boiled for eight hours, giving the beer a deep ruby  color and rich malt flavor. We then aged MASSIVE! in Macallan Scotch  barrels for almost 2 years. Enjoy the richness and intensity now, or  after years and year and years more of aging.This is a very limited run, and there are only 30 cases of MASSIVE!  Scotch Barrel Aged. We will have bottles for sale and a very limited  amount available for draft pours at Gigantic that day.We also still have a limited number of cases of older vintages of MASSIVE! Bourbon Barrel Aged, including 2016, 2017 and 2018. Allowing  people to build their own vertical tasting of MASSIVE!
