North Coast Brewing releases Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XXI and Old Stock Ale Cellar Reserve
North Coast Brewing Company has announced the release of Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XXI and Old Stock Ale Cellar Reserve in bottles just in time for the holidays. Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout is a category defining beer, perhaps the premiere and most widely accessible Imperial Stout on the market while Old Stock remains a classic example of English-style Barleywine, the extremely limited barrel-aged versions are real treats and make great additions to the beer cellar.
More from a press release:
Rooted in history, Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XXI is a take on the classic North Coast Brewing beer, Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. Old Rasputin is nationally recognized for its notoriety among the craft brewing industry and for its notable mix of rich flavors and warming finish. Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XXI was aged in bourbon barrels, giving it a complex and deep flavor that is celebrated by fans and critics alike.
In addition to Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XXI, North Coast Brewing Company is excited to announce the limited release of Old Stock Ale Cellar Reserve. Old Stock Ale is known for its high gravity and generous hopping rate, which makes it a perfect brew for an aged release. The aging process of the Cellar Reserve in rye whiskey and wheat whiskey barrels creates layers of intense flavor unique to this take on the Old Stock Ale.
“We’re thrilled with this year’s Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin and Old Stock Ale Cellar Reserve releases,” said North Coast Brewing Company Brewmaster, Patrick Broderick. “Both releases are an amplified take on two of our classic beers. The richness of these aged brews will make them your go-to choices during the holiday season, and beyond.”
The launch of Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XXI and Old Stock Ale Cellar Reserve adds to the diverse North Coast Brewing beer roster, including Scrimshaw Pilsner, North Coast Steller IPA and Ruedrich’s Red Seal Ale. Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XXI and Old Stock Ale Cellar Reserve are now available in 500-milliliter bottles nationwide.
