Gigantic Brewing Announces 2019 Beer Release Calendar

Portland-based Gigantic Brewing has announced its 2019 beer release calendar that includes seasonals, specialty cellar series, and some other new sub series. Gigantic famously launched with only one standard year-round beer, a flagship IPA, but has now announced Sassy Pony Hoppy Pale as an addition to the year-round lineup, which also includes Kölschtastic and Ginormous DIPA.Gigantic Brewing Co-founder Ben Love writes in a release:Our "Seasonal Hoppy" beer series have all been named after dances - The Time Warp, The Hustle, The Tighten Up and The Shimmy & Shake.We have really interesting beers planned for our "Seasonal Specialty" and "Specialty IPA" series including a number of collaborations planned with our friends - Holy Mountain, Brassneck, Anchorage, The ABGB, Bale Breaker, Reubens Brews and Parallel 49.We've expanded up our Pipewrench series to include cocktail inspired beers, also aged in Ransom Old Tom Gin Barrels. The first beer in that series will be Corpse Reviver #2 (gin citrus sour) followed up in the fall with Blackberry Bramble (blackberry and gin).Our "Brett Cellar Series" is also expanding beyond our award winning Fantastic Voyage Brett Saison to include variations including brett saison made with fresh pressed Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer, and a myriad of dry hopped versions.Most Most Premium BBA RIS returns in the spring, then in the fall we will have both MASSIVE! Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine and MASSIVE! Small Batch Barrel Variants including rum, cognac, mezcal, scotch, port and maple syrup.For Fresh Hop season we will have Sodbusted Simcoe made with freshly picked Simcoe hops from Sodbuster Farms in the Willamette Valley.Also returning is The Cat Ate My Stash & Pissed On the Xmas Tree.We will also have a number of draft only small batch beers releasing throughout the year and a few other surprises.
